Welcome! Here, I gather my favorite tools, courses, and materials. Many of these links are tips that I am enthusiastic about myself.
My experience
For me, getting creative with markers and coloring books is the ultimate wayto completely step back and unwind. But once you’re really into it,you quickly notice what a difference the right technique makes. Howdo you achieve those smooth transitions without streaks? How do you add depthto an illustration using the right shading?
I didn't really know where to start until I attended a free webinar from Brush Academie. I was immediately hooked, signed up for a subscription, and started taking their classes. What I love about their approach is that it’s incredibly accessible yet inspiring. They explain everything clearly and step-by-step, without it ever feeling too stiff or theoretical. The classes are also great fun to do with the kids—so for us, it definitely didn't stop at just 'cozy coloring'!
